Re-board — the world’s strongest paper board. Recyclable, printable, buildable.
The vision of Re-board has always been to “lead the sustainability revolution with premium, light-weight creative paper boards”. As all material usage leaves such large environmental footprint, our focus on showing the world what paper can do is more important than ever. The next generation solutions will be based on design properties of multiple materials and knowledge based decisions to use more sustainable materials and practices. The designers, architects, engineers, carpenters, students and other innovators who adapt to change will be in the driver’s seats, showing the way. Thanks! Your work makes our living tomorrow.
Are there really any environmentally friendly materials? Probably not, but there are materials that minimize the environmental impact. For Re-board, the voyage starts in the forest. A renewable source of materials that is cared about. When a tree is cut down, new trees are planted. Sustainable forestry management is the key word and at the very heart of what we do.
The heart of Re-board® is the patented core, engineered with standing and tilted paper fibres. It is made like that for good reasons and most importantly is the accurate finishing. Working with paper, a precise cut is what ensure the quick and durable build! The art of Origami is based on just that, a perfectly cut straight line ensure the design slice well into another piece, or locks a perfect angle. That is why Re-board® applications are safe in use and why they can re-use before re-cycle.
Re-board® Technology patented paperboard was engineered in the 1990s by award-winning Swedish inventor Karl-Gustav Ericsson. His main driving force was his concern for the environment; He saw that we could not continue carelessly consuming raw materials without seriously disrupting the balance of our planet. It was the first of its kind that was not based on the common honeycomb structure. This was the original Re-board®.

"We were sceptical that paper could hold up over a four-day trade show. We came back after day one completely converted. The stand looked better than our old MDF build — and packed down in twenty minutes."
